As February marks the beginning of Black History Month, we are proud to celebrate a significant milestone. Judge Chantelle is making history as our first-ever Black woman appointed as Circuit Court Judge in DuPage County.

What does this mean? The Illinois State Bar Association employs a comprehensive process to evaluate judicial candidates, involving surveys filled out by attorneys well-versed in the candidates' qualifications.

Judge Chantelle's rating by the ISBA speaks volumes about her credibility and the trust placed in her qualifications.

Delighted to share that Judge Chantelle recently joined the Local 130 Plumbers Union for their festive corned beef & cabbage dinner! It's moments like these that showcase her commitment to connecting with our vibrant community.

Judge Chantelle had an incredible time at the Addison Township Democrats Organization's Legislative Breakfast. Her presence added a special touch to the event, highlighting her dedication to engaging with the community.

Judge Porter recently attended a successful fundraiser alongside Judge Leah Setzen and Judge Jennifer Barron at the IBEW Local 170. Following the event, Judge Chantelle had the pleasure of participating in a Judicial Candidate forum hosted by the Young Democrats. Their insightful discussion resonated with a fantastic audience.

Thrilling news from Judge Chantelle's campaign! She's delighted to announce her recent endorsements from the United Hellenic Voters of America and the Elect Black Women PAC. These endorsements reflect the widespread support for her commitment to justice and equality.

Highlighting Judge Chantelle's commitment to community engagement, she recently volunteered for the Illinois Judicial Association's "Judges go to School Day." This initiative brings local judges to schools, promoting literacy and inspiring young minds.

Judge Porter recently attended Fenton High School's Black Student Union's "An Evening of Black Excellence" during Black History Month. It was an absolute honor for Judge Chantelle to engage with students, staff, and the community, contributing to a memorable event.

Judge Porter recently joined the Hanover Park Alive Center to discuss leadership and share insights from her journey growing up in Hanover Park. It was a wonderful opportunity for Judge Chantelle to connect with the community and inspire others.

Judge Chantelle had a wonderful evening at the DuPage Democrat Gala, where her presence added to the vibrancy of the event. This experience not only showcased her dedication to the community but also celebrated shared values.

Each year, the DuPage County Bar Association hosts a musical extravaganza called Judges' Nite, raising funds for Legal Aid. This event is not just about law; it's about embracing creativity and community spirit.

In a memorable theme choice, the Judges brought a touch of whimsy by embracing the Barbie Theme!

Ensuring transparency and informed choices, the DuPage County Bar Association recently hosted a Judicial Forum for the public to delve deeper into their judicial candidates.

Notably, Judge Chantelle Porter stood out as the only candidate in her race who attended, demonstrating her commitment to engaging with the community and providing valuable insights.

In her mission to make the court system accessible to everyone, especially in the juvenile division, Judge Chantelle Porter recently collaborated with Naperville Bridge School and the NAACP. Together, they orchestrated an impactful partnership, bringing students directly into Judge Chantelle's courtroom.

This initiative provides students with an invaluable opportunity to gain insights into the judicial process. Judge Chantelle's dedication to accessibility and education continues to shine.

We're excited to share the highlights of an amazing weekend filled with action and community engagement!

On Saturday, Judge Chantelle joined forces with the Bloomingdale Township Democrats in the Glendale Heights area. Later, she headed to Addison to celebrate the incredible women running for election, including Maria Sinkule, Diane Blaire Sherlock, Norma Hernandez, Delia Ramirez, and Maria Vesey.

The momentum continued on Sunday, where Judge Chantelle was honored to be part of a meet and greet alongside Justice Joe Hettel. This event, hosted by Deb Conroy and Terra Costa Howard, provided an excellent opportunity to connect with the community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for such a busy and empowering weekend! Your support fuels our commitment to positive change.
